When looking for dog boarding rates in Chesterfield, NJ, transparency matters. At Chesterfield Kennels, our pricing includes private runs, daily yard play, and hands-on interaction without surprise add-on fees.

Unlike many kennels that charge extra for playtime or attention, we believe quality care should come standard. Your dog receives personalized interaction, exercise, and a comfortable private space, all included in our boarding rates.

Under 40 pounds | $50/day
40–100 pounds | $55/day
Over 100 pounds | $58/day

All of our boarding rates include access to our private, climate-controlled dog boarding accommodations in Chesterfield, NJ, thoughtfully designed for your dog’s comfort and safety. Each stay includes daily playtime in two enclosed play areas, regular feeding, and a comfortable private run with a Kuranda bed.

Special Rates

Sibling Discount: For multiple dogs sharing a run. (Cannot be combined with other offers)
Military discount: 10% for active duty and veterans with valid ID.
Extended stay/long-term rates available upon request.
Summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day) and holiday periods have a three-day minimum stay.

Rates do not include NJ state sales tax.

Check-in/Checkout Hours

Monday – Friday
Morning: 9 am – 12 pm
Evening: 5 pm – 6 pm

Saturday
Morning Only: 9 am – 12 pm

Checkouts after 12:00 PM are considered an additional day.
Late/after hours checkouts are subject to a $100 surcharge.

We are closed for drop-off and pick-up on major holidays, unless special arrangements have been made in advance.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice for a full refund of deposit.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged a 2-day boarding fee per dog.

Required Boarding Vaccinations

We want every dog in our care to stay happy and healthy. To ensure the well-being of your dog and all guests, we require proof of the following vaccinations:

DHLPP vaccination or titer
Rabies vaccination
Distemper
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Please provide a copy of these records at check-in or upload them through our scheduling portal. For the safety of all our guests, dogs without current vaccination documentation cannot be admitted.

Food & Feeding

It is highly recommended to bring your own food. Please allow for extra food and, if it is not in the original package, please print the name of the food on the bag/container along with your pets name. Please supply a lid for canned food with your pets name printed on the lid.

If your dog requires supplemental cooked ingredients or food additives, such as cooked rice, please provide them at check-in.

Medications

We’re happy to give your dog any medications according to your or your veterinarian’s instructions.
